Christine Z. McCauley of Edwards Lifesciences Joins CorneaGen Board of Directors

CorneaGen, a mission-driven company committed to transforming how corneal surgeons treat and care for the cornea, today announced that Christine Z. McCauley has joined the CorneaGen board of directors. An experienced leader in the medical technology industry, McCauley is currently corporate vice president, human resources, at Edwards Lifesciences Corporation. She has more than 30 years of experience in human resources and has played a key role in the exponential growth of Edwards since it became an independent, publicly traded company in 2000.

McCauley has been a leader with the human resources team at Edwards since 1999 when the company had approximately 5,000 employees and net sales of $809 million. Today, the $3.7 billion company has more than 13,000 employees around the world. McCauley previously held human resources positions at Texas Instruments, Loral (Ford) Aerospace and Bally’s Health and Tennis.

McCauley also is a member of the board of directors and chairs the board’s nominating/ governance committee at Baxter Credit Union. She earned a dual bachelor’s degree in business administration and organizational effectiveness at The College at Brockport State University of New York and a master’s degree in human resource management from Chapman University
