Supply, Shipping and Logistic Challenges
March 3, 2026
Due to the worsening situation in the Middle East, airspace closures, government regulations, and the issuance of safety warnings in and around the Strait of Hormuz and the related air and sea areas have caused significant impacts on the performance of transportation logistics. Flight cancellations and delays are expected to impact both passenger and cargo traffic.
We are committed to doing all within our power and influence to ensure successful tissue shipments and delivery for your scheduled surgeries, but we ask for your understanding during this difficult period.
Expect:
- Closure and/or restriction of ports and airspace
- Suspension or rerouting of vessel and aircraft operations
- Governmental orders, security advisories, and regulatory restrictions
- Congestion, delays, and operational disruptions across affected trade lanes
- We are actively monitoring the situation and coordinating closely with carriers and regions to ensure continuity, transparency, and customer support
- This situation is impacting the entire global air and ocean freight market and is not limited to the Middle East region.
These events are unforeseen, unavoidable, and unfortunately outside of our control of. As a result, our ability to meet reasonable on-time transportation and delivery services may be delayed.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Tissue@CorneaGen.com
