Surgical Video of Corneal Tissue Addition For Keratoconus (CTAK)
November 7, 2023
Corneal Tissue Addition for Keratoplasty or CTAK is an innovative option for corneal contouring of keratoconic eyes. This video will show the procedure from beginning to end. CTAK is a form of a lamellar keratoplasty where a custom designed femtosecond created corneal stromal insert is placed into corneal stromal channels. The surgical plan is carefully designed and customized for each patient eye. CTAK technology is made possible by the collaboration of Peter S. Hersh, M.D., Steven A. Greenstein, M.D. and CorneaGen.
